Anne Penman Laser Stress Management Q & A
What is Anne Penman Laser Therapy for Stress Management?
The Anne Penman Stress Management Therapy combines low level laser therapy, counselling and continued individual support.
How can Laser Therapy help with my stress?
The laser treatment involves the application of a cold laser beam to specific energy points on the body. It is a drug-free, pain-free therapy that relaxes the body and helps release the natural occurring feel good chemicals in the brain called Endorphins. It helps you relieve stress and lowers anxiety.
The relaxing effects of laser therapy can have long term benefits.
Benefits of Stress Management Laser therapy include:
- Lower anxiety levels
- Reduced mood swings
- Healthier immune system
- Better sleep
- Restore balance, calmness to mind and body
- Put you back in control of your life
- Promote a feeling of well-being
We recommend a program of 4 sessions. The first session takes about an hour and 15 minutes, this allows us to find out about you and make a plan that tailors the program to your needs. We also help you set realistic goals to help you make necessary changes that can help you manage your new lifestyle changes.
Where is the laser applied?
The laser is applied to specific energy points on the hands, ears, nose and wrists, legs and feet.
Is there any pain?
Not at all, we use LLLT (Low level light therapy) that is a cold laser, non-invasive, drug-free and pain-free.
What sort of clothes should I wear for the laser therapy?
We treat points on your lower legs and feet so pants or jogging pants are suggested. You can wear anything you feel comfortable in. You do not need to remove any clothing, only your shoes, watches, earrings and bracelets.
Are there any side effects resulting from the laser therapy?
The laser is completely safe and has no adverse side effects. Most clients feel very relaxed during and after the treatment.
How much is the program?
The stress management program consists of 4 one hour sessions, spread out over one month. The total package, which includes laser therapy, counselling and continued support, is $595.00.
We do offer an introductory one hour session for $270.00. If after this session, you would like to continue with the 4 one hour package, we will deduct the introductory session and you pay $325 for the remaining 3 sessions.
I would like to give Laser Therapy to my friend/family member in a gift voucher, is that a good idea?
Yes, but allow them to make their own appointment and arrange the best time for them.
Can I bring my children?
We do not recommend you bring your children. There can be only you and our technician in our treatment room. This is your time to relax and focus on the program.
Do I have to have an appointment?
Yes, we have different locations and different times for each of them. It is advisable you make an appointment a few days prior to having your therapy.
Can I keep my mobile phone on during the therapy session?
Your full concentration is crucial for the therapy session to be successful. Mobile phones are not allowed in the treatment rooms. You can switch it off or hand it over to our receptionist.
